A recurring feature of a number of iconic institutional buildings, such as the Palace of Westminster<\/i><\/span>, the <\/span>Tower of London<\/i><\/span>, the foundation stone of <\/span>London Bridge, the<\/i><\/span> British Museum, <\/i><\/span>the headquarters of the<\/span> Bank of England,<\/i><\/span> the<\/span> National Gallery <\/i><\/span>in London and Dublin and the <\/span>UN<\/i><\/span> headquarters in New York, <\/span>Portland Stone<\/b><\/span> has travelled slowly through the centuries to bring us its impressive beauty, preserved by time. This collection is a modern tribute to the timeless allure of a charismatic, powerfully expressive stone.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Delicate shades of colour, soft cloudy effects and subtle touches of light envelop the tiles in the new Lithos<\/b><\/span><\/a> collection, embellishing it with distinctive graphic details to create simple yet sophisticated surfaces able to adapt to all kinds of applications and living spaces.<\/p>\n

The six collection colours (Lithos Beige, Bianco, Grigio, Nero, Taupe and Tortora) come with a thickness of 9 mm in the sizes 30×60 cm and 60×60 cm, with an anti-slip surface, and in the new R10 natural finish, which combines a pleasant appearance and a delicate tactile sensation with the technical characteristics required for increasingly international design projects. The 90×90 cm size is available with a natural surface, the 60×120 cm size is available in R10 natural, satin and grip finishes, and the 120×120 cm size is available in R10 natural and satin surfaces, while in the 120×278 cm size, the new Lithos collection comes in a 6 mm thickness and with an R10 natural finish, as well as an extraordinarily soft satin finish, for a natural, matt look.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the colours Beige, Grigio, Taupe and Tortora and the sizes 60×60 cm and 60×120 cm, Lithos is also available with a thickness of 20 mm, with an anti-slip surface, ideal for dry laying on turf, sand or gravel, or for raised laying.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The range is completed with 30×30 cm mesh-backed mosaic tiles with 5×5 cm and 5×15 cm tesserae, a cannet\u00e9 decoration in the 60×120 cm size, and a 29.5×29.5 cm curved mosaic tile, available in all the colours in the collection and with a natural surface.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Eco-compatible and fire-resistant, it does not give off harmful substances in the event of fire. It is non-absorbent and resistant to wear and tear, abrasion and thermal shock. Durable and easy both to lay and clean, its beauty remains unaltered over time. In addition, thanks to the Bios Ceramics<\/b><\/span><\/a> technology (available on request), this new collection combines excellent technical performance with antibacterial, self-cleaning properties able to reduce polluting agents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
