The study will consider \u2018all relevant constraints and risks, then recommend preferred options with high-level concept designs and realistic costings.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>According to the brief: \u2018The New Forest National Park Authority supported by Hampshire County Council is seeking a consultant \/ consultancy to prepare an Active Travel Feasibility Study for a route between Lyndhurst and Lymington in the New Forest National Park, Hampshire, known in the New Forest LCWIP as Route 120.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The purpose of the feasibility study is to identify options for this important utility and leisure route through the New Forest. The study will need to look at the provision of new walking and cycling (and, where appropriate, equestrian) options along Route 120 from Lyndhurst to Lymington. The route has further very important utility and leisure connections to the north and east.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The New Forest is one of the last areas of unenclosed pasture, heath and woods in southern England.
