The repurposed octagonal-shaped building is expected to feature a shop, beverage facility, box office and office space.<\/p>\n<p>According to the brief: \u2018The project would see the former Visitor Information Centre in Chesterfield town centre transformed into an immersive visitor Experience illustrating how both the town and Church have developed over the centuries, showcasing this famous landmark for both local people and visitors alike.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Visitors would be encouraged to move across to visit the Church and the current display in the Church would be reimagined to complement. The display would be modern and interactive to encourage involvement by all ages.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Chesterfield is a historic Derbyshire market town located around 18km south of Sheffield.
