Each of the three architects will be talk about their winning project. This will be followed by a short panel discussion considering the importance of environmental and social sustainability in the success of projects on smaller budgets.<\/p>\n

Hayatsu will talk about his project for Grizedale Arts<\/a> \u2013 The Farmer\u2019s Arms Cold Food Store \u2013 which adapted traditional Japanese building techniques using locally sourced materials. Mutton will discuss his light touch retrofit of a former office building in Newcastle for a local arts charity, and Nicklin will present her practice\u2019s self-built hempcrete architecture studio in south-east London.<\/p>\n
