Bayliss, who joined HTA back in 1998 as a Part 2 graduate and became its managing partner in 2016, will deliver a talk entitled \u2018People, Places, Buildings\u2019.<\/p>\n

The housing and placemaking specialist was crowned AJ100 Employer of the Year last month for the third consecutive year, after impressing judges with a culture of transparency and accountability, despite experiencing a challenging year in 2023.<\/p>\n

\u2018There\u2019s a willingness to keep themselves [HTA] on their toes and keep doing better,\u2019 said the judges. \u2018They continue to hold themselves to account for everything.\u2019<\/p>\n

They were also impressed with the practice\u2019s connection between employment ethos and work output.\u00a0\u2018As employees increasingly value practices that are mission-driven, there is a real sense that HTA\u2019s inclusive culture is fostered by the leadership team and followed through in its systems,\u2019 said one.<\/p>\n

HTA Design has offices in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Bristol, and is ranked 18th in the AJ100. In 2023 it worked towards B Corp certification, which was awarded in May.<\/p>\n

Bayliss\u2019s talk will follow recent speakers such as ZCD Architects director Dinah Bornat and National Infrastructure Commission chair John Armitt.<\/p>\n

The AJ100 lunch, to be held at the Lighterman in King\u2019s Cross on Thursday 18 July, will be hosted by AJ managing editor Will Hurst and supported by AJ100 Club sponsor MSA Safety.<\/p>\n
