Dominique is the curator of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pavillon-arsenal.com\/en\/expositions\/12248-terrafibra-architecture.html\">TERRAFIBRA<\/a>, an exhibition at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pavillon-arsenal.com\/en\/\">Pavillon de l\u2019Arsenal<\/a> in Paris, on show until February 27.<\/p>\n<p>In this episode Dominique describes the growing \u2018frugal\u2019 architecture movement in France which has seen over 6,000 straw buildings built in the past 10 years. She is a co-author of France\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.frugalite.org\/fr\/le-manifeste.html\">frugal architecture manifesto<\/a>, launched in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Dominique recently founded the global <a href=\"https:\/\/terra_fibra_award.wiin-organizers.com\/en\/competitions\/TERRAFIBRA-AWARD-2021\">TERRAFIBRA Awards<\/a> to recognise and promote what she calls post-carbon architecture: buildings made with regenerative materials such as earth, straw, bamboo, and hemp.
