She worked with <a href=\"https:\/\/gehlpeople.com\/\">Jan Gehl<\/a> in 2015 to develop the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glasgow.gov.uk\/CHttpHandler.ashx?id=53335&amp;p=0\">City Centre Strategic Development Framework<\/a>, shaping many of the projects coming forward now. Paola is responsible for commissioning <a href=\"https:\/\/civicengineers.com\/project\/glasgow-avenues-eiipr\/\">The Avenues<\/a>, a transformation of the city centre to prioritise people over cars, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thesustainableglasgowlanding.com\/#:~:text=The%20Sustainable%20Glasgow%20Landing%20brings,justice%20movements%20meet%20the%20arts.\">Sustainable Glasgow Landing<\/a>, the animation of a vacant site adjacent to the COP26 secure zone, curated by <a href=\"https:\/\/new-practice.co.uk\/\">New Practice<\/a>, both described in our last <a href=\"https:\/\/www.architectsjournal.co.uk\/news\/aj-climate-champions-podcast-cop26-pop-up-activism-and-glasgows-new-climate-resilient-public-realm\">episode<\/a>.
